Valencia CF join Fundación Aladina’s ‘Pañuelo Challenge’ campaign to raise awareness of childhood cancer
Every February 15 marks the ‘World Childhood Cancer Day’
The 'Esta Navidad, regala investigación' campaign was launched by the Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria del Hospital Clínico de València (INCLIVA) during December, running through to January 6th.
It's objective was to make citizens aware of the importance of health research, and to present the possibility that they too could contribute through their donation to the advancement of science, to find solutions to medical problems.

The VCF Foundation, as an honourary ambassador for INCLIVA, collaborated in this action by providing gifts, rewarding the solidarity of the participants in a meeting held at the VCF Foundation headquarters and at Mestalla.
The Director General of the VCF Foundation, Teo Swee Wei, and the Financial Director of INCLIVA, Vicente de Juan, participated in the event, presenting the different recipients with: A Valencia CF shirt signed by the players and personalised with 'INCLIVA' written on the back; A ball signed by Valencia CF players; two sets of Valencia CF scarves and hats; two Mestalla Tour tickets; and four tickets to participate in the 'Yo pisé Mestalla' action.
